OUR WORK:

We at Wumi's Animal Sanctuary have made it our mission to help the animals in Romania. Here in Romania, dogs are daily abandoned, injured in traffic and left injured, puppies are thrown over the fence and then hundreds of thousands or more dogs live free and wild on the streets, in towns and villages as well as in fields and in the forest. Some are used to people and have had good and / or bad experiences. Accordingly, they behave as well. If we find one of these dogs, usually by accident or because someone makes us aware of it, we try to capture it. This can be fast, especially if he already had contact with people and had good experiences. But it can take weeks to trust us, as in Forest (see picture on the right).
